I was originally shocked to see two women show up to put my chimney liner in but soon came to see the skills that they both carried with them. They were walking on my roof like they were on the ground and had more knowledge then i when it came to power tools. From start to finish, my experience with Boxford Chimney Sweep as a costumer was both educational and easy. Our paths crossed when I was forced to retire my old boiler and thus needed to obtain an inspection report stating that my new gas boiler was still safe to vent into the chimney. At this point, it was my plumber who recommended the services of Boxford Chimney as an affordable and trust-wothy company in identifying whether my chimney was up to date or not. I called that evening and spoke to a gentleman by name of Josh... and first thing the following morning the Boxford Chimney family arrived and they were even on time!! The inspection only took a couple of minuets, however it was determined that I needed a new chimney liner due to cracks and an overall deterioration of clay. Furthermore, Josh went on to explain how the deterioration of the clay had happened, and informed me that with their new liner I would never have to correct this problem again. This was great, but even better was the company's ability to give me an immediate estimate as to how much it would cost to fix the problem and get my heat up and running again. I must admit, it all sounded a little to good to be true that the crew of four would be able to take on such a large job. I was wrong. After permitting the work on the chimney it could not have been more than couple hours before I had my safety inspection in hand, and the Boxford Chimney trucks were pulling away. - Satisfied Swampscott Customer!!
